Les had a bad night Tuesday. He was sick all night and didn't sleep. Not surprisingly, he still made it to work Wednesday morning. He was slightly sick most of the day Wednesday and Wednesday evening. He did sleep very well Wednesday night and is feeling better today.
He has to go to Olathe to have the pump removed today. No 3 treatment is scheduled for June 30th, with only one more after that before the scan.

Bless your hearts...I know you have a tremendous faith in God, but it does make you wonder what you are supposed to do and/or learn from all of this doesn't it? Elizabeth and I were cruising around the other day (she was driving - YIKES!) and we saw you, Nana and Les on the front porch. I was so glad to see that. Liz said, "Mom, Les just keeps on going, doesn't he?" Reading this blog reminds me somewhat of the "energizer bunny" - especially after Liz's comment. I think that's what I have learned from Les having cancer...no matter how bad things are, he just puts his trust in God, leans on his family, and keeps on keepin' on! I am amazed by his strength and determination to kick cancer's rear! You know he is in my prayers, and please let me know if there is anything we can do to help your family. That's what friends are for!!!

I wish I could do something to lighten Les' load. He has lightened mine so many times! If I can do more than just pray, please, let me.
